"Initially, after joining college, I found the transition from South to North India quite overwhelming. I was extremely homesick and I deeply missed my hometown. At the time, I was seriously contemplating leaving IIT Roorkee to return to Chennai and pursue Computer Science instead.

This phase of uncertainty and emotional turmoil lasted for nearly three to four months.
